Holidays

Well it has been 3 months since our little K has entered the world all bright eyed and bushie tailed. He is such a sweet boy. We love being with him every moment possible and miss him every moment we aren't with him. We have found that having a new baby is a lot like being addicted to drugs. The more we are with him the more we want to be with him and when we aren't the withdrawal is unbearable (for me anyway). I find myself doing anything for a baby fix...IE putting a new picture on my computer desktop every day at work, snuggling instead of sleeping, and mainly just staring at him.

The most fun is now that he is 3 months old he has started to recognize who we are in his life. He may not know our names or titles but in his little heart he knows who we are and that we love him. If you have never looked into the eyes of a baby while they are smiling you are missing out on an amazing experience.

God is so good for making babies. Without them we would never be able to imagine the sacrifice and love he sent through Jesus.

The holidays are here! I usually am not a big fan because we are either traveling, spending too much money or being pulled here and there for this party or that. This year I am actually somewhat excited. It will be K's first holiday season. We spent Thanksgiving down at my Dad's house in Kfalls and will be doing Christmas in Albany with Eryn's family.

Kfalls went really well. The weather was horrible (as expected) but we stayed with my Dad's parents and had a great time with family and friends. Everyone got to meet the little guy and he loved being held.

Khalil has such a wonderful personality. He is a quiet baby who loves to smile, make funny faces, read books, sing songs and talk your ears off (That doesn't sound like anyone you all know does it...lol). For a couple of weeks now every time we put him down to go to sleep he will talk to himself to keep himself from falling asleep. It is one of the funniest things we have ever heard. Two weeks ago he learned how to arch his back during tummy time and lift his head up to see what is around him. A couple of times we have gone into his room when he was supposed to be sleeping and found him looking around the room just chattering away to himself.

Well I hope this post finds everyone healthy and trusting in the LORD. Enjoy the pictures. I always do.

Love the Womacks
